Apple Launch New iMac Today
 
Apple launch a new iMac today. Now housed in an ultra-thin seamless anodized aluminium casing (with a black back and screen surround) both 20” and 24” glossy widescreen models are available. All include built-in wireless, built-in camera and microphone, a higher performance graphics processor than ever before, a new design of keyboard with low profile keys in the same ultra-thin aluminium style as the iMac, and the new iLife ‘08 suite. Speeds go from 2GHz to a whopping 2.8GHz, all using Intel Core 2 Duo technology
 
Apple have also announced a speed bump for the Mac Mini. Both models now use Intel Core 2 Duo processors, either 1.83GHz or 2GHz.
 
And for the iWork users out there, Apple have also revamped this offering, announcing the iWork 08 suite which now includes a spreadsheet application for the first time.
